Front Desk Clerk

About the Role: Our Front Desk Clerks are the welcoming face of Out of This World Gymnastics. In this role, you’ll greet families, check students in for classes, answer questions, and provide support across the front desk, café, and retail areas. It's a great fit for someone who is friendly, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment. We’re looking for a team player who enjoys helping others and creating a positive first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. Key Responsibilities - Greet families and students with professionalism and a smile - Manage class check-ins using our registration system - Answer phone calls and emails, providing helpful and timely information - Assist with café restocking, tidying, and light customer service - Support merchandise and retail sales at the front desk - Keep the lobby and front desk area clean and organized - Collaborate with coaches and management to ensure smooth operations - Follow daily opening and closing procedures as scheduled Ideal Candidate - Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with children and families - Strong communication and multitasking skills - Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems - Attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure Previous front desk or customer service experience is a plus (but not required)
Entry-Level Coach
Starting at $14/hr, with higher rates DOE.
About the Role: Coach I is our entry-level coaching position designed for individuals who are energetic, kind, and eager to learn. No prior coaching experience is required—we provide comprehensive training in class structure, safety procedures, child supervision, and basic spotting techniques. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive attitude, and is interested in becoming part of a supportive and engaging gymnastics environment. Key Responsibilities - Assist lead coaches during gymnastics classes for various age groups - Support student engagement, classroom management, and positive reinforcement - Learn and implement safety standards, spotting basics, and class routines - Help set up and reset equipment before and after classes - Monitor student progress and support individual needs as directed - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for participants - Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to grow within the role Ideal Candidate - Enthusiastic, friendly, and patient with children - Teachable, dependable, and excited to grow into a coaching role - Able to follow directions and work well in a team environment - Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with frequent movement and interaction CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (can be obtained after hire)
Office Administrator

About the Role: The Office Administrator plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations organized and efficient. This position is responsible for managing scheduling, internal communications, supply coordination, and parent support. You’ll be the central point of contact for staff logistics and administrative needs, helping ensure a smooth experience for both our team and the families we serve. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, family-focused environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage staff and program scheduling, including updates and changes - Coordinate internal communications among coaches, managers, and administrators - Track, order, and organize office and facility supplies - Respond to parent inquiries via phone, email, and in person - Support enrollment, billing, and registration processes as needed - Assist with documentation, recordkeeping, and basic reporting - Maintain organized digital and physical administrative systems - Collaborate with management to improve workflow and efficiency Ideal Candidate - Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable using scheduling software, spreadsheets, and basic office tools - Friendly, professional, and approachable with both staff and parents - Previous experience in office administration, education, or customer service preferred
Assistant Coach

About the Role: Coach II is an assistant-level coaching position ideal for individuals with some gymnastics background—whether through previous coaching, competition, or training experience. In this role, you'll work closely with lead coaches to support safe, engaging, and skill-appropriate gymnastics instruction. You’ll help supervise groups, provide hands-on spotting and guidance, and contribute to a positive and encouraging class environment. This position is perfect for those who are confident with foundational gymnastics knowledge and passionate about working with children in a structured and active setting. Key Responsibilities - Assist lead coaches during recreational and/or preschool gymnastics classes - Support safe skill progression and help maintain class structure and flow - Provide spotting and hands-on guidance appropriate to each age and skill level - Help supervise students and maintain a safe environment on the gym floor - Encourage students with positive reinforcement and clear communication - Communicate effectively with fellow coaches and leadership team - Support light equipment setup and clean-up before and after classes Ideal Candidate - Prior experience in gymnastics (as a coach or athlete) - Enjoys working with children in a dynamic, energetic setting - Comfortable assisting in group instruction and spotting basic skills - Team player who is dependable, communicative, and eager to learn - CPR/First Aid certification a plus (can be obtained after hire)
Lead Coach
Starting at $18/hr, with higher rates DOE.
About the Role Coach III is a leadership-level coaching position ideal for experienced gymnastics instructors who are confident leading groups and mentoring others. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, guiding athletes through skill progressions, and supporting the development of junior coaching staff. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, positive, and high-energy learning environment for students of all levels. Key Responsibilities - Lead recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls, ensuring age-appropriate progressions and safety - Plan structured, engaging lesson plans in line with gym curriculum - Mentor and support newer or less experienced coaches on the floor - Provide feedback and guidance to students and assistant coaches - Communicate effectively with parents, peers, and program leaders - Support setup, breakdown, and organization of class spaces - Assist in event execution or specialty clinics as needed Ideal Candidate - Minimum of 2–3 years gymnastics coaching experience required - Confident in class management, skill spotting, and progress evaluation - Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills - Passionate about working with kids in a positive and empowering way - CPR/First Aid certification a plus (can be obtained after hire)
Program Director
Starting at $30/hr, with higher rates DOE.
About the Role: The Program Director is a leadership position responsible for overseeing one or more areas of programming within the facility. This role blends day-to-day program management, staff supervision, and curriculum implementation to ensure that classes run smoothly, safely, and with a high standard of quality. Ideal candidates are experienced in youth programming and confident leading teams, managing schedules, and maintaining strong communication with both staff and families. Program assignments will be based on background and facility needs, and may include movement-based classes, enrichment activities, or recreational instruction. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the daily operation of assigned program area(s) - Supervise, support, and develop program staff - Implement and maintain structured lesson plans and daily schedules - Ensure safety protocols and behavioral expectations are consistently upheld - Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants - Communicate effectively with families and respond to program-related inquiries - Track attendance, manage supplies, and support enrollment coordination - Collaborate with leadership on staff training, seasonal planning, and special events - Model professionalism, clear communication, and positive team culture Ideal Candidate - Background in youth programming, recreation, education, or movement-based instruction - Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred - Confident managing both children and adults in an organized setting - Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Passionate about working with children and creating meaningful, high-quality programs
Senior Coach
Starting at $22/hr, with higher rates DOE.
About the Role: Coach IV represents the highest level of our coaching team and plays a key leadership role within the gym. This position is ideal for experienced instructors who are confident leading advanced-level gymnastics classes, supporting the development of junior coaches, and assisting with event-based programming or specialty clinics. We’re looking for a passionate leader with a deep understanding of gymnastics instruction, a strong presence in the gym, and a commitment to creating a safe, challenging, and positive environment for athletes of all ages. Key Responsibilities - Instruct and lead advanced-level recreational gymnastics classes - Train, mentor, and support newer coaches during onboarding and development - Ensure proper spotting, safety, and skill progression in all assigned classes - Support specialty clinics, in-house events, or competitive prep activities - Provide feedback and input to directors on program structure and athlete progress - Foster a positive, disciplined, and engaging atmosphere for all students - Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership as needed - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe coaching area Ideal Candidate - Significant coaching experience in recreational or competitive gymnastics - Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills - Comfortable running high-level classes independently - Knowledge of skill progression, safety techniques, and athlete development - Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and committed to excellence - CPR/First Aid certification and/or relevant gymnastics certifications preferred
Employees may qualify for a $2/hr bilingual differential when they demonstrate fluency in a language that is actively used to support families or operations at Out of This World Gymnastics.
Additional languages beyond the first may be recognized, but do not increase the differential unless they are separately and consistently used in job duties.
